Barbara Ann Alexander

Barbara Ann Alexander, 75, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Barbara was born July 21, 1948 to Fred and Mildred (Gorham) Clodfelter in Greencastle.

Barbara was a Woman of the Moose and she was the life force for her and her husband’s company, Alexander’s Masonry.

She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos with her husband. Barbara loved to play Santa’s helper with her husband for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, whom she adored, as well as the children at the Moose Lodge. She loved spending quality time with her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester “Butch” Allen Alexander Sr.; brother Deanie Clodfelter; sister Jean “Chicky” Moore; sister in-law Terri Clodfelter; and her baby boy dog, Buddy.

Barbara is survived by her three children, Lester Alexander Jr, Leslie “Missy” Alexander-Terry (Keith McCalister) and Scott Alexander (Candy); brother Freddie Clodfelter (Sherry); grandchildren Kody Terry, Dylan Terry (Samantha Newcomer), Kaitlin Alexander, Samara Alexander (Kaleb Weddell) and Everett “Bubba” Alexander; great-grandchildren Olivia Alexander, Carter Terry, Zoey Terry and, coming soon, Baby Weddell; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation service will be Monday, April 15 from 4-7 p.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. A Women of the Moose dedication will be at 6 p.m.
