Bridgeton Rendezvous set for this weekend

BRIDGETON — The annual Bridgeton Rendezvous is coming up this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 27-28.

Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Visitors can stroll through the Bridgeton Covered Bridge and view demonstrations at the Bridgeton Mill.

It will be the 32nd-annual living history reenactment with about 50 camps all authentic to 1750-1840.

Also, the Bridgeton Volunteer Fire Department will have a Jonah fish fry on Saturday from 2-7 p.m. at the new firehouse.

No admission is charged to any of the events and there is plenty of free parking.

Bridgeton is located in southeastern Parke County, nine miles south of Rockville, or by taking State Road 59 north from Brazil to the Bridgeton billboard.
