Top 10 guilty pleasuresPosted Friday, February 22, 2008, at 1:25 PM
What can I say? I have a weakness for raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.
But I can't find anything I want to talk about. I'm tired of congressional baseball hearings and Spygate. I've already said all I want about Kelvin Sampson. I think Mr. B has covered Dan Dakich pretty well.
And I have absolutely nothing to say about the NBA.
So this one will be a bit of a diversion for me...
So, here is the list of my top 10 guilty pleasures. You know, it all the things that I profess to be too manly, too intelligent or have too much taste to like. But, alas, in my weak moments, they get the best of me.
It's all rather cheap entertainment that should be beneath me. But apparently it isn't.
10. Gangsta rap (I can't figure out why, but I still love NWA)
9. "Dancing with the Stars"
8. Dolly Parton
7. "A League of their Own"
5. "Father of the Bride" (Steve Martin, not Spencer Tracy)
4. Neil Diamond
3. Helen Keller jokes
2. Olympic gymnastics/figure skating
1. "The Sound of Music"
Feel free to make fun/chastise me all you want, but remember, you have a list of your own. Please do share...
