Ayanna Nees was crowned 2020 homecoming queen at South Putnam High School. She was escorted by Gabriel Langley. On the field, Langley and the rest of the Eagles drubbed Edgewood 42-0.

North Putnam defeated Cloverdale 44-6 in week five. The Cougars picked up their first win to move to 1-4. The Clovers remained winless at 0-5.
