Milton Alfred Rice

Milton Alfred Rice, 51, Ladoga, died Wednesday at Hendricks Regional Health.

Born at Crawfordsville, he was the son of Alfred and Ruth (McMahan) Rice.

A 1972 graduate of Southmont High School, he had been employed in production at Temple-Inland in Crawfordsville. He was a member of Ladoga Christian Church, a former member of Freedom Baptist Church, a member of Montgomery County Pioneer Tractor Club, Bal-Hinch Harriers Dirt Bike Club, and Active Baptist Campers.

He married Mary Jones on Nov. 22, 1980 at Freedom Baptist Church. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents, Crawfordsville; three daughters, Brooke R. Rice, at home, Erin L. Rice, Crawfordsville, and Megan E. Rice-Stockton, New Market; two brothers, Kenneth Rice, New Market, and Brian Rice and wife Deanna, Brazil; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Pamela Janette Rice.

A Celebration of Life service is set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Ladoga Christian Church with Rev. Paul Leonard and Jim Flater officiating. Private burial will be conducted.

There will be no visitation.

Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga, is handling arrangements.
