Dorothy Joan "Jo" Twigg, 62, Cloverdale, died Monday evening at The Waters of Greencastle nursing home.

Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Keith and Dorothy W. (Jenkins) Stevens.

She was a homemaker and also worked as a cook at Sunset Manor and Asbury Towers nursing homes. She also worked at the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity at DePauw University. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School Class of 1961.

On May 19, 1984 she married James A. Twigg. He survives.

Also surviving are her daughter, Sherri Wahl and husband Scott, Cloverdale; son Monty Keyt and wife Jan, Greencastle; brother Kenneth Stevens, Greencastle; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Melvin Stevens.

Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steve Blades officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Louise Brackney, 1 Hilltop Ct. Greencastle, or the Relay for Life of Putnam County.
