Harold E. Plessinger, 59, Terre Haute, died Sunday at his residence.
Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Jay Omar and Dorothy (Land) Plessinger.
He was a State Farm agent and a professional musician. He was a member of Braketime Car Club, Old National Road Society, received an award from the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame for 25 years of performing, and had been a member of Northwest Express Band and Ennis and the Outlaws.
Surviving are a brother, three sisters, a cousin, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by sister Wanda Jill Plessinger.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, Terre Haute, with Rev. Steve Moore officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Little Walnut Cemetery, Greencastle.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
