Helen J. Butcher, 82, Gosport, died Sunday.
Born in Tulip, Ind., she was the daughter of Lee Smith and Lizzy (Norris) Smith Owens.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Cloverdale Nursing Home. she was also a member of Bible Baptist Church.
She married Paul Blaker, who preceded her in death. She then married Johnnie Butcher, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Kenneth P. Blaker and wife Mary, Jamestown, Zane Butcher and wife Brenda, Zenia, Ohio, and Gary Butcher and wife Robin, Bloomington; a brother, Dewey Norris, Indiana; a twin sister, Ellen Abrams, Bloomfield; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and brothers Lee Smith and Orville Norris.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at West and Parrish and Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer, with burial at Hudson Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 al.m. until service time Friday.
