Christine E. Vaughan, 91, Cloverdale, died Thursday at her residence.

Born in Putnam County, she was the daughter of William O. and Minnie M. (Hodge) Lewis.

She was a homemaker, bookkeeper and clerk for Stilesville Implement.

She married Millard T. "Mid" Vaughan on May 8, 1931. He died Aug. 15, 1998.

Surviving are a daughter, Janice E. Robertson and husband Bill, Cloverdale; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Bernice Lillian Ridgway and brother Aubrey G. "Abe" Lewis.

Graveside services will be a 1:30 p..m. Sunday at Cloverdale Cemetery with Rev. John Nees officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday.

Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, is handling arrangements.
