Thomas Dewayne Shoopman, 23, Poland, died Saturday in an auto accident.

Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Thomas Sigler and Tamara Kay (Shoopman) Shoopman. He was a handyman.

Surviving are mother, Tamara Kay Shoopman and fiancˇ Sid Trimble, Poland; father, Thomas Sigler and fiancˇ Kellie Whited, Mooresville; son, Thomas D. Shoopman, Jr.; half-brother, Chance Hart Trimble, Poland; and maternal grandmother, Josephine Irene Stephens, Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Allen Shoopman.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. Nick Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
