Edwin C. Kridler, 88, Greencastle, died Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital.
Born in Milwaukee, he was the son of John Harry and Anna (Myczewski) Kridler.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he had been a civil engineer for the State of Indiana, retiring in 1983. He was a member of American Legion, VFW, Disabled American Veterans and attended Indiana Tech at Fort Wayne.
He married Norma Clara Louise Meyer on July 19, 1942 in Camp Swift, Texas. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Edwin G. Kridler, Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Susan K. Rich, Coatesville; brother Gene Kridler, and a granddaughter.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mapel Hill Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Charles Wood officiating.
Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.
