Patricia Ann Hays Dooley

Patricia Ann Hays Dooley, 78, Henderson Nev., formerly of Waveland, died Wednesday at St. Rose Dominican Hospital.

Born at Dana, Ind., she was the daughter of Hugh and Grace (Fifer) Hayes.

A graduate of Dana High School, she received a undergraduate and master's degrees from Indiana State University. She was an educator for more than 30 years, teaching in Montgomery and Parke counties. She was a member of Waveland Covenant United Methodist Church, Alpha Xi sorority, and Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association.

She married James Dooley on Dec. 29, 1951 at Dana. He survives.

Also surviving are a son, David Dooley, Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mary Ann Garst, Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Janice Thomas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, with burial at Bethany Cemetery, Marshall.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
