Mae Almeda Diel

Born in Putnam County, she worked 36 years at Allison Division of General Motors, retiring in 1979.

She was a member of United Auto Workers, Travel Study Club, Order of Eastern Star and Speedway United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Lakeview Manor in Indianapolis since 1979.

Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, Speedway. Entombment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Boone County.

Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
