Juanita Ruth Stanley

Juanita Ruth Stanley, 77, Clayton, died Saturday at Clay Health Center, Brazil.

Born in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Clarence B. and Ruth Elnora Shields Main.

She worked as a operator of the Clayton phone exchange, was a secretary-treasurer for Cascade High School for many years, team-drove a semi-truck for three years and retired in 1987 from Rund Express where she worked in payroll. She was also a member of the Clayton Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include daughter, Sandra R. Hampton and husband David, Brazil; sons, John B., Mark H. and Greg A. Stanley, all of Clayton; brothers, Keith Main, Indianapolis, and Lyle B. Main, Portage Mich.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth P. Main, sister Rosemary Main and an infant son.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial will be at Clayton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
