Imogene (Kelly) Pierson, 85, Danville, died Tuesday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Wayne and Gladys (Smith) Kelly.

She worked for 20 years in the supply department at Farm Bureau Insurance in Indianapolis, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the New Winchester Christian Church.

She married Leon Pierson, who died in 1978.

Surviving are a son, Larry Pierson, Clayton; a daughter, Nona Knauer, Cloverdale; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Diana Jo Pierson, brother Roland Kelly and sister Madeline Kaiser.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Weaver and Randolph Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will be in the Coatesville Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
