Charles M. Phillips, 81, Omaha, Neb., formerly of Greencastle, died Wednesday in Omaha.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of the late Cecil R. and Zelma G. Phillips.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy, Omaha; a son, Marion M. Phillips and wife Sunny, Omaha; sister Dorothy Vaughan and husband Grover; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews of Greencastle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leon, and sisters Mary Deem and Laverne Wells.

Visitation is 4-9 p.m. CDT today at Crosby Burket Swanson Golden Colonial Chapel, Omaha.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CDT Saturday at Community Covenant Church, 15770 Q St., Omaha, with interment to follow at Voss Mohr Cemetery.
