Helen A. Stringer, 89, Greencastle, died Friday morning at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Virgil and Eva (McCloud) Wincel.

She was a homemaker and a member of Jehovah's Witness.

She married Loyd Stringer, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Morris Stringer and wife Susie, Greencastle; stepson Lowell Stringer, Terre Haute; sister Esther Terry, Greencastle; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter and halfbrother Ray Clark.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with burial in Stilesville Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time Monday.
