Sleigh bells ringing for supporters

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

The Putnam County Museum will host a Holiday Celebration to show appreciation for its supporters from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 in the Museum's multipurpose room.

Sponsored by North Salem State Bank, Mill Pond Health Campus, First National Bank, and Humphrey's Wheelhorse, this event is a thank you to everyone who has supported the museum through annual memberships and for those who would like to become members. Those interested in attending should contact the museum by today at 653-8419.

The Museum invites members, new and old, to spend the evening reminiscing with favorites from the holidays like cookies and confections, decorations, door prizes, music provided by the Tzouanakis Intermediate School choir and featuring appetizers from Bert and Betty's. The event is a great way to share with friends and family the exciting things happening at the museum.

The Putnam County Museum is located at 1105 N. Jackson St. Regular museum hours are 1-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and by appointment.

For more information, call 653-8419 or email museum@co.putnam.in.us.
