He was born Nov. 20, 1981 in Brazil to Fred and Kathy Stevens Metz. He was a 2000 graduate of Northview High School and worked for Crown in Greencastle. Travis was a fun loving "adrenaline junkie" who lived his life one day at a time.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, coaching CYL baseball, loved his dogs Cletis and Maizee, and most of all loved his family and friends, especially his son Brendan.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Lawson Crague; son Brendan Crague and his mother Kelsie Simonson of Brazil; parents, Fred and Kathy Stevenson Crague of Brazil; brothers, Brad "Bub-Z" Crague, Nick "Girty" Girton, Nat "Biff" Taylor all of Brazil and Jeremy Lawson of Brazil; grandparents, Tom and Edith Stevens of Brazil and Loretta Martin of Clinton, a special uncle, Tim "Timbo" Stevens of Brazil; father-in-law, Jim Lawson and mother-in-law Bev Lawson.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2008 in the Lawson-Miller Funeral Home with visitation from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2008 in the funeral home.
Burial is in Union Cemetery.
