Rain pounded central Indiana causing cancellations and postponements for several local sporting events.

The Greencastle girls' tennis team had their Wednesday matchup with Owen Valley postponed until Monday at 4:30 p.m. Their Thursday night contest with Danville has been cancelled.

South Putnam had two events altered by Thursday's weather. The girls' tennis team's match against Owen Valley has been cancelled, while the baseball contest with Owen Valley has been moved to May 19.

The Middle School County track meet has been postponed until Monday at 4:30 p.m.
