Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Victor Lee, 20, Greencastle, was booked at 6:55 p.m. Monday for possession of marijuana, reckless possession of paraphernalia and possession of a detonating device.

* David Sutherlin, 36, Greencastle, was booked at 7:29 p.m. Monday for dealing in marijuana, possession of a detonating device, reckless possession of paraphernalia, neglect of a dependent, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

* Raymond Capps, 20, Greencastle, was booked at 8:04 p.m. Monday for forgery and violation of home detention.

*?Donovan Jackson, 34, Poland, was booked at 8:15 p.m. Monday for two counts of failure to appear.

* Robert Glover, 33, Amo, was booked at 8:34 p.m. Monday for operating while intoxicated.

Sheriff's Dept.

Four people recently reported damage due to collisions with deer.

* On May 10 at 11:30 p.m., Nathaniel Lawless, 20, Greencastle, hit a deer on US 231 near Brick Chapel.

Damage was estimated between $1,000 - $2,500.

* On May 11 at 9:14 p.m., Chad Killinger, 33, Robinson, Ill., hit a deer on US 231 near Bainbridge.

Damage was estimated between $1,000 - $2,500.

* On May 12 at 5:52 p.m., Joseph Flint, 19, Greencastle, hit a deer on C.R. 125 South near Greencastle.

Damage was estimated between $1,000 - $2,500.

* On May 13 at 12:34 a.m., Charles Gibson, 34, Indianapolis, his a deer on US 36.

Damage was estimated between $1,000 - $2,500.
