Jessica Johnson

Jessica Ryann Johnson, 22, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at her mother's home in Belle Union following a lengthy illness.

Ms. Johnson was born May 8, 1986, in Greencastle to Marlena Stevens and James Johnson.

She attended South Putnam High School and Ivy Tech Community College. She was a certified nursing assistant.

Surviving are two children, Kaleb Heishman and Justice Heishman, both of Coatesville; her mother and stepfather, Marlena and Brent Stevens of Belle Union; her father, James Johnson of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Joshua Johnson of Denham Springs, La.; a sister, Taylor Stevens of Coatesville; grandparents Jim and Bonnie McCollough of Cloverdale, Mike and Sandra Stevens of Belle Union and Connie Johnson of Spencer; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Her grandfather, Gary Johnson, preceded her in death.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to funds for Ms. Johnson's children at National City Bank.
