Diana L. Regnier, 55 of Poplar Grove, Ill. and formerly of Greencastle passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2008 in Chicago.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1953 in Kankakee, Ill. to Howard and Darlene Hupel Byick.
Mrs. Regnier had been a Teacher's Assistant at Greencastle Middle School and Cascade High School.
She also was a former member of Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department. Currently she was a member of Northeast Christian Church in Rockford, Ill. and the North Coast P.T. Cruisers.
Her parents and a brother, David Byick preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Wayne; three daughters, Tara Baugh and husband, Jerrod of Greencastle, Tammy Seed and husband, Trevor of Lawrenceville, Ill. and Tina Davis and husband, Michael of Avon; a sister, Patty Blanchette and husband, Alan of Kankakee; three grandchildren, Gayle Baugh, Jacob Seed, Nate Seed, Cody Albin, Michael Albin and Gavin Davis; and two beloved dogs, Missy and Scooter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at noon at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with Tracy Theissen of Northeast Christian Church officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of services on Saturday. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Diana enjoyed gardening, camping and NASCAR.
