Jerry Stringer

Jerry Lee Stringer, 62, of Indianapolis, died Aug. 6, 2008. He was born Sept. 16, 1945, in Greencastle.

He was the owner of "Pop and Cork" package liquor store for 35 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Jane (Campbell) Stringer; a son, Kevin Stringer and wife Lisa; a step-son, Wendis Fugate and wife Jeanette; his mother, Mary F. (Horn) Flint; a sister, Judy Martin and husband Bud, and two grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 9. Memorials can be made to the St. Francis Hospice or Fellowship of Christ Baptist Church.
