Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

Robert Campbell, 30, Indianapolis, was booked at 3:11 p.m. Friday for three counts of failure to appear.

Ciera Pedrey, 20, Roachdale, was booked at 3:35 p.m. for failure to appear and petition to revoke probation.

Belinda Zeffel, 38, Cloverdale, was booked at 3:50 p.m. for a petition to revoke probation.

Deanna Howard, 30, Indianapolis, was booked at 9:29 p.m. for domestic battery with prior.

Gary Stokes, 34, Greencastle, was booked at 9:51 p.m. for violation of home detention.

Kent Jackson, 33, Greencastle, was booked at 1:08 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Ryan Minor, 23, Chicago, Ill., was booked at 5:17 a.m. for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Jufria Maynard, 21, Greencastle, was booked at 3:01 p.m. for possession of marijuana and violation of probation.

Rachel Castello, 30, Indianapolis, was booked at 7:28 p.m. for failure to appear.

Frank Roche, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 11:59 p.m. for dealing in marijuana, battery with bodily injury, possession of marijuana, battery with serious bodily injury and possession of paraphernalia.

Jeffrey Land, 30, Greencastle, was booked at 12:33 a.m. Sunday for domestic battery.

Roger Browning, 54, Plainfield, was booked at 11:00 p.m. Monday for operating while intoxicated.

Jeramiah Reed, 21, Cloverdale, was booked at 2:42 a.m. Tuesday for operating per se and operating while intoxicated.

Kirby Starkey, 28, Brazil, was booked at 11:16 a.m. for failure to appear.

Sheriff's Department

Two accident reports were turned in recently at the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

On Aug. 26 at 6:30 a.m. Faviola Garcia, 29, Fillmore, was on SR 240 East when a deer ran in front of her and she was unable to avoid hitting it.

Damage was estimated between $750 - $1,000.

On Aug. 31 at 2:48 a.m. John Sarauer, 21, Greencastle, was on CR 200 South when a deer ran in front of him and he was unable to avoid hitting it.

Damage was estimated between $2,500 - $5,000.
