Charles W. Sillery 87, of Ladoga died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mr. Sillery was born in Coatesville on Aug. 29, 1921 to Roy C. and Grace W. Crump Sillery.
He graduated from Ladoga High School. He was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church and the American Legion at Crawfordsville.
He farmed in the Ladoga and Roachdale area for many years. He was a veteran of World War II.
He married Eileen S. Farr on Feb. 10, 1947 at Roachdale and she preceded him in death on April 25, 2007.
Surviving are two sons Robert W. (Linda) Sillery of Indianapolis, and Dennis Sillery of Plainfield; three brothers Glenn (Norma) Sillery of New Market, Roy L. (Janet) Sillery of Ladoga, and Morris (Sandy) Sillery of Jamestown.
Services will be at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale on Monday at 1 p.m. Calling will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Rev. John Nolan will officiate.
Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted.
