DePauw volleyball drops second straight match

DePauw volleyball nearly battled all the way back from a 2-0 deficit before losing a five-set match, 3-2, to visiting Indiana Wesleyan on Friday. The Tigers dropped to 17-8, while the Wildcats improved to 15-10 with the 25-19, 25-17, 25-27, 21-25, 15-8 win.

Erin Cunningham led the Tigers with 14 kills, while Katey Larson added 13 with Loren Sloan and Dana Genet each adding 12.

Ali Smith led DePauw with 41 assists with Emily Smith totaling 30 digs. Kristen Chynoweth led the Tigers with seven blocks and Larson followed with six.

DePauw travels to Southwestern on October 17-18 for four Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matches.
