Betty M. Burks

Betty M. Burks, 82, Danville, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at I.U. Medical Center.

Mrs. Burks was born Nov. 26, 1926 in Putnam County to Albert O. and Lillie Stevens Frost.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School and was vice-president at Production Credit Association.

Her husband, Paul B. Burks; a brother, Norman A. Frost; and her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Deanna Eaton of Danville and Carolyn Best and husband, Kenneth of Brooksville, Fla.; sisters, Ann Porter and husband Harry of Greencastle, Helen M. White and husband James H. of Greencastle and Mildred Sims and husband Hubert of Williston, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Thayra Frost of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Kimberly Best of Bonita Springs, Fla., Cory Best and wife Angie of Sarasota, Fla., and Eric Eaton and wife April of Nashville, Tenn.; and two great-grandchildren, Connor Eaton and Sabrina Eaton.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Brownsburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1205 Randall Way, Brownsburg, with Adam Warner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
