Claude Albright, 89, of Greencastle died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Putnam County Hospital.
Born Jan. 24, 1920 in Clay County, he was the son of Melvin Franklin and Mary Frances Bridgewater Albright. He married Ruth A. Vaught on Nov. 17, 1945 and she preceded him in death in 1994.
Mr. Albright had been a repairman with Lonestar Industries for 40 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Lone Star 25 Year Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Shirley Pruitt of Greencastle; a son, Melvin R. Albright of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Paul Evans of Ohio, John C. Evans and wife April of Greencastle and Arthur C. Evans of Greencastle; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and three brothers, Roy, Jasper, and Orville Albright.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Small officiating. Burial will be in the Russellville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
