Eleanore Irene Robinson, 80, of Greencastle died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born May 22, 1929 in Clinton Falls, she was the daughter of Tommy and Ester VanVactor Wright. She attended Greencastle Schools. She married Bobby Gene Robinson in 1946 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1983.
Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and had owned and operated with her husband the Robinson and Son City Service Citgo Station in Fillmore for five years. She was a member of the Fillmore Eastern Star and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sons, Laddie Robinson and wife Nancy of Fillmore and Kim Robinson and wife Yolanda of Rockville; three grandchildren, Stephen Robinson, Ivie Robinson and Nathan Robinson and wife Heather; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Robinson, Caleb Robinson and Lillie Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Mary Grace Templeman and Doris Jean Wilson.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (formerly the Chandler--Hayes facility) 4 N. Percy Julian Dr., with the Pastor Bill Emberton officiating. Burial to follow at the Fillmore Cemetery.
