Stanley Lewis Smith, 56, of Quincy, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at his residence.
He was born may 28, 1953, the son of Harold "Red" Smith and Maxine Casside Smith.
Mr. Smith was the owner of The Leather Smith Shop in Quincy.
Surviving are his parents Red and Maxine Smith of Quincy; four sons, Jesse L. Smith of Bloomington, Jaimi L. Smith of Lafayette, Samual A. Robertson of Spencer and Shane A. Robertson of Spencer; one daughter, Sherry McCracken of Greencastle; brother Ronald Smith and wife Melanie of Cloverdale; grandmother Eva M. Smith of Greencastle; nine grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, 2 E. Main St., Gosport with Bro. Billy Williams officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Calling will be from noon to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
