Jeffery K. Broadstreet, 51, of Indianapolis died on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009.
He was born on Feb. 15, 1958 in Greencastle to Marvin and Patricia Evans Broadstreet.
Mr. Broadstreet was a 1976 graduate of Greencastle High School, was a heavy equipment operator, and belonged to the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Blanton and husband Dellon of Reelsville; brother Terry Broadstreet and wife Heather of Greencastle; sisters Sandra Bridgewater and husband James of Brazil and Tonya Salah and husband Salah of Roachdale; stepbrothers and stepsisters; nieces Nichole Ison and husband Jesse, Miranda Yeley and Ashlynn Yeley; nephews Mike Yeley, Joshua Broadstreet, Justyn Broadstreet, Jaxson Broadstreet and Youssef Salah; great-nieces Amelia Ison and Arleigh Ison; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His father, Marvin Broadstreet and grandparents, Thomas and Mildred Evans and Harold and Juanita Broadstreet preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Hopkins--Rector Funeral Home, 4 Percy L. Julian Dr. with James Bridgewater officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.
