North Putnam parents to hear about cyber safety

ROACHDALE -- North Putnam parents are invited to attend a Cyber Safety event to be held at Roachdale Elementary School's gymnasium on Nov. 17 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.

Greencastle Police officer Brian Hopkins will present information to parents. Putnam County Prosecutor Tim Bookwalter will also be at the event featuring community organizations with information and resources for parents.

Free childcare and student activities will be provided during the event along with refreshments, student performances and door prizes.

Persons interested in transportation from Bainbridge Elementary to Roachdale for parent night should contact Kirstein McClamroch at Bainbridge Elementary at 522-6233 by Nov. 9.

Overflow parking will be available at the Roachdale Christian Church parking lot with a shuttle to the elementary school.
