Beth Anne (Rather) Sears, 48, of Greencastle died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at Hendricks Regional Health Center in Danville.
Beth was born, Sept. 21, 1961 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Clyde and Margaret Louise (Young) Rather. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and was a member of the New Life Baptist Church.
Beth was a branch manager of the First National Bank of Cloverdale, Greencastle Wal-Mart Branch.
Beth is survived by her husband, John C. Sears of Greencastle; her mother, Louise Rather of Greenwood; a sister, Linda L. Rather of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Sarah Sears and husband Ted of Greencastle; her mother and father- in-law, John and Beverly Sears of Fillmore; a sister-in-law, Becky Sears of Greencastle; a niece, Heather Rather of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and a nephew, William C. Rather Jr. and his wife Minta of Franklin.
Her father and a brother, William Clyde Rather, preceded Beth in death.
Friends may call at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, 602 E. Washington St., Greencastle, on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the New Life Baptist Church, 51 Ridgeway, Greencastle.
Entombment will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
