Walker said the sun was in his eyes and he could not see the 2000 Lincoln Towncar driven by Sondra C. Hipsher, 68, Roachdale, sitting at the stop sign. Walker sideswiped Hipsher's vehicle.
* Oct. 28, 1:53 a.m.: Jennifer L. Taylor, 23, Greencastle, was northbound on CR 225N in a 1997 Ford Escort when a deer ran in front of her from the west. She swerved to miss the deer, entered the ditch on the east side and struck a power pole.
