Fred "Rick" Robinson, 54, Centerton, died March 7, 2011. Fred was born Dec. 30, 1956, in Morgan County.
Fred attended Martinsville High School before enlisting in the United States Navy. Most recently he had been a truck driver for Midland Co-Op and prior to, he was a transport officer for the RDC in Plainfield. Above all, Fred loved to farm and was known as Farmer Fred when he lived in Cloverdale for many years. He will be missed by his family, especially his grandchildren, who knew him as Papaw Cow. He contributed to the lives of many children and had a big heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Robinson and sister, Julie Robinson.
Survivors include his children, Fred Robinson, Jr. (Silvia) of Indianapolis, Marianne Robinson of Cloverdale, Kayla Robinson of Brownsburg, Lindsey Robinson of Brownsburg; mother, Laneda Rush of Boone County; sisters, Robin Robinson of Indianapolis and Susan Fivecoat of Boone County; companion, Ginny Robinson of Centerton; grandchildren, Orion, Jacob, Alisha, Nathan, Keegan and Ethan.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Centerton Cemetery.
