* July 3, 2:46 a.m.: Mark Stoner, 56, Roachdale, was westbound on CR 1100 North in a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He lost control and hit a culvert on the north side of the road. The vehicle then left the road and went airborne for about 100 feet, also taking out a fence.

The vehicle came to final rest on the north side of the road on the fence, facing eastbound on the driver's side.

When Sgt. Craig Sibbitt arrived at the scene, passenger Scott Alan Styer was still on location. He said that Stoner, his uncle, was driving the vehicle but had fled the scene. Styer said Stoner had been drinking alcohol before the crash.
