The Eagles Lodge No. 4388 will be hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 24.
The event is open to the public -- whether you are homeless or just have nowhere to go for dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
Dinner will begin at noon and last until the food runs out. A donation of a dessert is appreciated but not mandatory.
Keeping with tradition, the Eagles will be serving turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and dessert that will all be prepared on site.
The event is funded by the Eagles' ladies auxiliary and the men's aerie.
Participants are asked to sign up in the lobby of the lodge prior to the event to get an idea of how much food is needed.
The Eagles Lodge is located at 207 W. Elizabeth St., Greencastle.
