Saturday, December 17, 2011

Sheriff's Department officials said Friday that few details are available in a possible breaking and entering south of Limedale Thursday afternoon.

At 2:08 p.m. Thursday, a woman called 911 Dispatch reporting an intruder in her house when she came home. The Putnam County Sheriff's Department responded to the call at 3541 S. CR 200 West (Manhattan Road).

Detective Sgt. Pat McFadden said Friday the victim reported the unknown perpetrator had attacked her before fleeing the home. He said no description of the attacker was provided.

The Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate the case.

Be aware of your .envirment.and secure your home-sensor lights-dead bolts-look around before you enter or leave your home-take all precautions-I have been on my guard-not everything is in paper-I have had gas stolen twice-now have lock cap. Everyone stay safe.

Xgamer, you're more right than you know. This terrible incident should never have happened, and I pity the soul of the perpetrator.

you never know. times are hard. you have to protect yourself be being aware of your environment. even when out and about doing normal routines. when coming home to an empty house look to see if anything seems out of place. leave lights on in house during the day if it is empty. we leave out tv on too.
