The South Putnam boys' track team recorded an impressive win over Eminence Thursday on its home track.
Hunter Barr and Klayton Vittetow posted two wins each for the Eagles to lead the way. Barr won the 1,600-meter run in 4:59 and the 800-meter run in 2:14. Vittetow won the 300-meter hurdles in 47.50 and the high jump with a height of 5-8.
Lucas Lorian won the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.1, with Tyler Neumann winning the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 17.7. Ben Fiest took the top spot in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.9 and Matt Lund won the 3,200-meter run in a time of 11.40.
Jesse Gardner posted the Eagles' lone win in field events, winning the pole vault with a height of 9-6.
Colten Bunten, Tyler Nield, Matt Allen and Lund won the 3,200-meter relay, while Fiest, Wes RIner, Trent Workman and Jake Wiggs won 400-meter relay. The Eagles also won the 1,600-meter relay on the night.
