He was born Oct. 10, 1934 in Quebec, Tennessee, the son of Thomas E. Wilson and Eula Mae Steele.
Billy retired from Rexnord Link-Belt, Bearing Division as a department foreman with 36 years of experience.
He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Wilson, his mother Eula Mae Sanders, one brother Ed Wilson and his wife Sandra L. Hitchcock-Wilson.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Sandra K. Curran and spouse Bob, Brenda J. McKinney and spouse Tracy, LaDonna R. Wilson and spouse Dean and Jessica J. Wilson-Dickehut and spouse Brian; one son William L. Wilson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, James C. Wilson and wife Bettye.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home in Clay City with Pastor Ron McDugle officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
