Gregory S. Solomon

Gregory S. Solomon, 65, of Pittsboro, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012.

Born May 17, 1947 in Greencastle, he was the son of Albert and Mary June (Rising) Solomon.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1965.

Gregory married Phyllis Jean Kendall in Indianapolis on Jan. 26, 1973, and she survives.

He was a skilled tradesman for GM.

Survivors include his father, Albert Solomon; wife Jean Solomon; son Scott Solomon; daughter Brandi Scueler; sister Marsha Carrington; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 24 at the David A Hall Mortuary Pittsboro, with a funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25 at the mortuary.

Burial will be at noon Monday at New Providence Cemetery in Putnam County.
