Rain Garden Field Day and Tours

The Big Walnut Watershed Alliance along with the Putnam County Fairgrounds and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management will be hosting tours of the new rain garden on July 21 from 4:30-5:45 p.m.

Participants are invited to learn about water quality in the area and discover how one can make a difference.

Tours will begin at the Big Walnut Watershed Alliance booth, which will be located by the cattle wash area and the new chicken barn.

There will be fun activities for children, educational information and 15-minute rain garden tours at 4:45, 5, 5:15 and 5:30 p.m.

The fairgrounds are located at 64 N. U.S. 231 in Greencastle.
