Christmas in the Park

Monday, December 3, 2012

Camels and shepherds, Santa Claus and kids were the order of the day Saturday at the annual Light the Park Christmas program in Greencastle's Robe-Ann Park. [Order this photo]

Members of the New Life Baptist Church youth group came in costume to have their picture taken with Sir King James, a six-month-old camel owned by Cheryl and Matt Shireman. The group on hand at the park includes (from left) associate pastor Wade Potts and wife Caitlin as Joseph and Mary, Alan Skillern, William Wren, Abby Skillern and Katie Norman. [Order this photo]

Meanwhile, Santa Claus arrived on foot, toting his bag across the park to meet with eager youngsters waiting at the bandshell. [Order this photo]
