The Greencastle golf team continued its dual meet domination on Tuesday, beating host Tri-West 145-195.

Junior Alec Davis was the medalist. He shot a two-under 34 at the nine hole meet, making three birdies and just one bogey.

"A score of 145 on a rainy, cool day is a great score," GHS coach Steve Paquin said. "Our players played through the tough conditions and didn't let it affect their scoring."

Juniors Tanner Dean and Luke Brotherton followed with a 36 and 37, respectively, and freshman Jake Buis shot a career-best two-over 38.

Sophomore Carl Basile, with a season-best 43, and senior Wataru Otaki (46) rounded out the field for the Tiger Cubs.

"Tanner had his best nine of the season," Paquin said. "Luke continued his fine play. ... Our players continue to gain confidence with the consistent ball striking, iron play and short game execution that have lowered their scores."

GHS is scheduled to return to action on Thursday when it hosts Cloverdale and Plainfield at Windy Hill at 4:30 p.m.
