Celebrate the Fourth of July with live music in the park
Six live musical acts will take the stage as part of the Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 4 in Robe Ann Park at the Bob Flanigan Bandshell.
Phillip Steven and the Open Road will be the headliner at 8:15 p.m., but music lovers need not wait until the evening to enjoy the live entertainment.
The Mongrel Dogs, known for their soulbilly music of blues-infused rock and country will open the live shows with a set from 1-2 p.m.
Wanted On Fire, the Greencastle-based punk, alternative, classic rock group will take the stage from 2:15-3 p.m.
Redzilla, a youth band new to the music community will follow from 3:15-4 p.m.
Local favorite Anthony Mullis will grace the stage of the bandshell from 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Classic rock group Wing Nuts will play from 7-8 p.m.
Phillip Steven and the Open Road band will conclude the live music playing southern rock and country music from 8:15-9:45 p.m. The group includes Greencastle guitarist Steve St. Pierre.
