City Police

Twelve traffic citations were issued recently by Greencastle City Police officers.

-- At 10:35 p.m. Sunday, John Alexander, 45, Poland, was cited at Washington and Durham streets by Officer Matthew Huffman for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

-- At 1:40 p.m. Sunday, Max Holt, 27, Greencastle, was ticketed on Bloomington Street by Officer Nick Eastham for having an expired plate (June 2013).

-- At 9:27 p.m. Saturday, Zachary Kline, 19, Waynetown, was cited by Officer Eastham for 52 mph in a 30-mph zone on Bloomington Street, south of Martinsville Street.

-- At 1:15 p.m. July 5, Matthew Kaste, 20, Cloverdale, was ticketed by Officer Huffman for 48 mph in a 20-mph zone at South Jackson and Hanna streets.

-- At 11:45 p.m. July 3, Cody Southgate, 18, Greencastle, was ticketed by Capt. Chris Jones for improper passing on the left on Indianapolis Road.

-- At 4:25 a.m. July 3, Michael Wilson, 25, Greenwood, was ticketed by Officer Eastham for 52 mph in a 30-mph zone on Bloomington Street, south of Martinsville Street.

-- At 10:02 p.m. July 1, Joseph Ellis, 47, Dover, Tenn., was cited by Officer Eastham for 51 mph in a 30-mph zone on Bloomington Street, south of Martinsville Street.

-- At 9:40 p.m. July 1, Sherry Frame, 50, Coatesville, was ticketed on Fillmore Road by Officer Eastham for having an expired plate (April 2013).

-- At 2:50 p.m. June 30, Brittany Perdue, 25, Indianapolis, received two tickets from Capt. Mike Hanlon at Bloomington and Anderson streets. She was cited for 48 mph in a 30-mph zone and for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

--At 9:40 p.m. June 28, Axl Overstreet, 20, Greencastle, received two citations from Reserve Officer David Clodfelter. Overstreet was stopped on Veterans Memorial Highway for driving with a suspended license and having an expired plate.
