Putnam County Hospital holds annual staff appreciation picnic

Putnam County Hospital held its annual Staff Appreciation Picnic on Friday, Sept. 20.

Lunch and dinner were served for staff members during their meal break, along with a cornhole tournament and prize giveaway. Many local businesses graciously donated services and products.

For this year's main course, Elizabeth and Richard Shafer donated pulled pork. As a thank you, Putnam County Hospital donated $500 to Hope's Way.

Hope's Way is a free recreation center for special needs children and their families. This include physically, mentally or emotionally challenged individuals of all ages.
