Holiday Spirit

Bainbridge Elementary School second-graders deliver a portion of the 1,317 food items collected by the school for 2-Fish Food Pantry. Mrs. Asher's second-grade class proposed a community project for the Christmas Holiday and challenged all classes to join in with a goal of 1,000 items. North Putnam Superintendent Dan Noel will be sponsoring a pizza party for the class that collected the most items. The 2-Fish Food Pantry has been serving families in the North Putnam School District for more than four years and is supported by donations from individuals, local churches and the local Extension Club, the Midwest Food Bank, Panera Bread and other interested groups. It is staffed by community volunteers. Monetary donations to the 501(c)3 2-Fish Food Pantry may be sent to P.O. Box 195, Bainbridge, IN 46105 throughout the year.
