Whether you're a bubbly-sipping fashionista or a barbecue-and-brew football fan, Greencastle has everything you need on Friday, Jan. 31 with a fundraising event to support Ivy Tech student scholarships.

If the inside scoop on the hottest fashion trends and accessories while enjoying tasty food and libation with friends speaks to you, check out Bags & Bubbles from 7- 9 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College, 915 S. Zinc Mill Rd., Greencastle.

The style show will feature a few local models, including Greencastle Mayor Sue Murray. A surprise guest is also expected.

Tickets are $50 per person and are available while supplies last. Persons may register online at IvyTech.edu/BABS or call Lora Zoll at 653-7410.

If a Super Bowl kickoff with barbecue, brew and live music is more your style, join the gang at the Swizzle Stick, 17 W. Franklin St., Greencastle.

Dinner will be served from 7-9 p.m., featuring the Swizzle's ribs and pulled pork, gourmet mac and cheese and Vermont slaw. It's all served with Indianapolis' own Sun King Brewery Cream Ale along with a free growler to take home.

Live music by the 15th and Hulman band begins at 9 p.m. and continues until midnight.

Tickets are $50 with tables of two for $100 and four for $200 also available. Space is limited. Call Almost Home at 653-5788 to reserve seats (be prepared to pay in advance to hold your seat or seats).

Bags & Bubbles attendees are invited to join up with the Beer and Barbecue crew at the Swizzle Stick after the event to complete the evening.
